IV INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: DOMESTIC AND WORLDWIDE VEHICLES RECYCLING
PRACTICE AND EXPERIENCE

Cracow, Double Tree by Hilton Hotel September 18th-20th, 2019 - Bochnia, Przeworsk, Rzeszów, Trzebinia.

PROGRAMME

Dear Sir/Madam,
For over 20 years we have been meeting at trainings, seminars and conferences organized by FORS. This time we cordially invite you to the 4th International Recycling of vehicles in the country and abroad Conference, which will be held on September 19, 2019 in the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton in Kraków.

As in previous years, we will host many industry representatives and speakers from Poland and abroad. This year's conference, under the slogan “Practice and experience” (orig. Praktyka i doświadczenie), will be enhanced with the possibility to visit 3 dismantling facilities that have been operating for years in southern Poland: in Bochnia, Przeworsk and Rzeszów. Moreover, there will be a unique opportunity to visit a modern catalytic converter processing plant in Trzebinia.
During the Conference, in a group of befriended organizations from other countries, we will propose to establish September 18 as the “International Car Recycling Day". This is a symbolic date for the industry as Directive 2000/53/EC became effective on this very date. This Directive setting the basic vehicle recycling targets is now applied in all European countries and in many other countries it is the basis for the implementation of national regulations. It became the “industry’s Constitution” in a way. The car recycling day on September 18 would take place on the European Mobility Week, which ends on September 22 with the globally celebrated “No Car Day”. That is why the idea was born that car recyclers should be able to celebrate during this period. It will also be an excellent opportunity to promote the proper handling of end-of-life vehicles in the media. In addition, there are plans to establish an International Car Recycling Committee, which will include representatives from a number of countries.
This year, both in Poland and in many other countries, is quite a challenge for the industry: car production is falling, scrap metal prices are falling, whereas the grey economy and bureaucracy are increasing. That is why all hardworking people deserve a moment of relaxation combined with the opportunity to gain new contacts and practical experience. And this is the spirit which will dominate the the 4th International “Recycling of vehicles in the country and abroad” Conferenc. We are convinced that apart from professional experience, both the Conference itself and the beautiful city of Kraków will provide a charge of positive energy.

During the Conference it will be possible to get acquainted with the offer of exhibitors, invited to present services and devices dedicated for disassembly facilities. Framework programme of the Conference:

September 18, 2019 - a tour of disassembly facilities in Bochnia, Przeworsk, Rzeszów - field orientation meeting - transport by coach.
September 19, 2019 - Conference in Kraków - Double Tree Hotel by Hilton, gala dinner in the evening.
